Warmly welcoming others and contributing to the wider community have been strengths of St John’s College since the school was established in 1972 at the original Carlton North site. In 1979 the school relocated to our current site in Preston; we are proud to be part of Darebin City and acknowledge the Wurundjeri people as the traditional owners and custodians of this land. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present.

Our community actively participates in the greater community of Preston and surrounding suburbs through fundraising, charitable works and deeds. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive, welcoming and one of the most affordable schools in Preston. We also have an active and diverse school alumni community who regularly contribute to College events. Whether our families have students currently enrolled or graduates, they remain part of the St John’s College community for life.  Our mission statement captures our intention to be an inclusive and welcoming learning community.
