Guest Speaker – Dr Magdalena Simonis

Dr Magdalena Simonis MBBS FRACGP DRANZCOG MHHS is an experienced and respected GP, an Honorary Senior Research Fellow with the University of Melbourne Department of General Practice, a GP educator, and a longstanding member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) Expert Committee for Quality Care which develops primary care guidelines. She was appointed to the National COVID-19 Taskforce expert committee and is passionate about increasing health literacy in the community. Dr Simonis has been active in providing COVID-19 updates throughout the pandemic, has addressed issues around conspiracy theories and vaccine hesitancy especially in the CALD communities and has been a frequent contributor to mainstream media and GP publications throughout the pandemic. Topics Dr Simonis will talk about include:
